This project is currently in planning stages.
Pandect is planned to be a browsing environment for working with resources referred to by canonical reference, following the conventions of the CITE (Collections, Indexes and Texts with Extensions) architecture. (On the CITE architecture, see Digital Incunabula .)
The state of Pandect's browsing environment can be described by Scenario XML files, which will be Pandect's standard open/save format. (For more information about Scenarios, see Digital Incunabula, mirrored here).
We are currently focusing our initial work on a Swing environment.
